Area around the Stagnone

Stagnone

The area around the Stagnone and the city of Marsala offers plenty of attractions to suit all tastes:

Boccafiume beach-Spiaggia di Boccafiume

This lovely beach of sand and pebbles is situated at the mouth of the river Birgi which marks the border with the neighbouring province of Trapani.
All around the Stagnone there are also numerous restaurants, pizzerias, sailing and wind-surfing schools, a riding school, a few bars and a playground.

Natural Reserve “Torre San Teodoro”

Within the Reserve there is a public beach but it is also possible to rent umbrellas and sunbeds from a small restaurant on the beach which offers food and beverages. From this point it is also possible to walk all the way to the Isola Lunga, crossing a short stretch of sea where the water never gets above knee-height.
